My 2 year old loves to dance.... i mean shake Get on the floor and work it. Should I stop her?
Question: It doesnt me but I get looks from people like why do you let her do that Its nothing sexual, and no one is touching her, she dances by herself to the music. My mom calls her my lil stripper

Let her! My daughter is the same way(she'll be 2 in June). My daughter can dance cumbias better than I can. It's cute and it's fun for them. BUT....tell your mom to stop calling her that. That's sick, she's 2.

Yes, stop her. There is dancing and then there is droppin like it's hot! Children dancing are beautiful. Children dancing like they are strippers or video hoes is something TOTALLY different. Unless you are preparing yourself to see your child work a brass pole for a living or become a groupie for the next hot rap artist, teach her other forms of dancing.
Her dancing is not sexual because she has know idea what she is doing. The shows or videos she is watching obviously are influencing her greatly. You should be taking this into account. Little girls should not be doing what older women are doing. By they way, older women should have more respect for themselves as well and they would not let themselves be portrayed like that.
