Create ringtones?
Question: I would like to create ringtones to sell?
But do you need a sepcific program to them, if yes what program? or can you make it with your phone?
Answers: What an interesting concept. I hope you don't plan on using other copywritten music as your basis for ringtones.
To make the music, you need a computer with a music editing software.
Audacity is a free windows audio editing program:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
Then you convert the finished audio to whatever form you plan on putting on the phone. (mp3, wma, etc...)
That of course depends on the type of phone so I can't recommend anything...
Then you move it on the phone and see the results. (you can do this any number of ways... bluetooth, cable, etc...)
Then you find potential customers and have them follow the same process of putting it on the phone or you write a software that can port the info for you.
I would suggest using a more modern phone it makes things a lot easier. (usually they have more compatibilities)
There is a much easier way to create ringtones and graphics from music or images you own to send directly to your phone. Phone Sherpa http://www.phonesherpa.com enables you to upload your music or images to the web site and create your mobile content. Most importantly, there's no software to download or configure. It's fun and easy. Try it for free.
