Why do they call it the Milky Way? I've never seen any cows or dairy trucks out there...?
Answers: Just because you've never seen them doesnt mean they're not there. The cow who jumped over the moon didnt return back to earth.

because there were so many stars and they were so close together. people didn't have telescopes back then so it was pretty blurry. the ancient romans called it Via Galactica , meaning road made of milk. what i'm trying to say is that the stars were so close together and blurry it reminded people of milk!
