Lighting Bulb puzzle!?

Question: A light bulb is hanging in a room. Outside of the room there are three switches, of which only one is connected to the lamp. In the starting situation, all switches are 'off' and the bulb is not lit.

The Question: If it is allowed to check in the room only once to see if the bulb is lit or not (this is not visible from the outside), how can you determine with which of the three switches the light bulb can be switched on?
Answers: Turn on switch one for 10 minutes, then turn t off and turn on switch 2. Then enter the room to get your answers.

The one connected to switch 1 will be off but hot.
Switch 2 will be on,
Switch 3 will be off and cool.
Turn on one switch. Wait for a time, perhaps twenty minutes, flick on another switch and go into the room and touch the bulb. If it is warm, it was the first switch; if cool, the second; if off, the third, untouched switch.
Switch on one of the switches (A) & leave it on for some time, now switch it off & switch another one (B) on & quickly go in the room & touch the bulb. If it is hot, then A is the switch.
If it is glowing, then obviously B is the switch.
& if none of these conditions are met, then the third switch is the one.
Turn all three switches to the different position, then just look under the door after turning each one to different position you can determing which one lit the light. Ha!
