Scorpio guy avoids eye contact when up close, but from a distance?
Question: he will stare at me and look me in the eyes. Is he shy, nervous or hiding his true feelings for me? Often, it's when we're sitting next to each other or across from one another that he will avoid eye contact. Once in a while when I'm talking or during intimacy, he will look dead at me. We've been going out for a year now and I know for sure he cares and feels for me.

omg Yes! I do the same exact thing! He can read much more the closer you are. During intimacy he can take it bc its right. Distance is allright too, but up close no!! The first and third answers are 210% true. good for you for answering this question bc if you would of misinterpreted for something else who knows how fusturated you would of got... boys have done this w me... now that he's obviously in love be patient w him and love him.

i used to experience the similar too. when from afar its like they can pierce thru your head with their stare but when close upfront, the scorps i used to be with, they'll look at me sideways. very seldom an eye to eye contact. though i know i could never win the 'staring contest' anyway. haha.
