Does any one no if you need a jappenesse gamecube to play NARUTO japenesse games on?
Answers: yeah. Unfrtunately, the gamecube has region encoding, making it unable to play japanese games on an american gamecube. but there are adapter disks on the market (the only one that comes to mind is Action Replay) that can get passed the encoding. Just make sure you can read what the game says though.

It allows you to play any gamecube game on any gamecube system whether they are from the US, UK, or Japan.
Keep in mind, though, that you should have a spare memory card. If you try to save a Japanese game file (like Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4) in a memory card that contains English games files, it'll erase the whole memory card (reformat), because Japanese game files can't be in the same memory card with English game files.
